I did the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5k 2011 with my team-G Squared this morning! We were there and walking at 7:40am and finished walking in just under an hour! This was team G Squared's third year in a row walking to fight breast cancer-we had a team of 11 people this year. It was much cooler than last year! My team name is G Squared in honor of my two grandmothers who are both survivors! :)

Exciting news!
I'm being promoted at work! Training is next week. :)

14 days...
Until Fall semester 2011 classes start. EEK! Where has this summer break gone to? I guess with working a bit and taking two summer classes it didn't really seem like much of a summer break. It was overall a pretty uneventful summer, hardly made plans to do much due to classes. I have only been swimming twice-not okay. Hoping these last two weeks off from school will be fun!
I am sort of looking forward to Fall classes though, this time next year will be my last semester of college and I will graduate in Fall 2012! SCARY to think about!! This coming semesters classes shouldn't be too bad-all five are communications classes, which is what my major is. I was fortunate enough this year to be able to get a few new pairs of jeans-I out grew five pairs. I am excited to wear them and my new quarter zip sweatshirt from vs pink. Also looking forward to using my new school supplies!

Work News!!
The manager at work today asked me "If I thought I was ready for a key to the stores?"
AKA a promotion, pay raise, and more hours and responsibilities. Keep your fingers crossed for me and say a prayer! Today marked the beginning of my 11th month of working at SK. And I happened to be late to work...thought I worked at 12, turns out today was 11 am. Tomorrows shift starts at 12. Lovely....hope that and this other kid at work who likes to nit pick on the things I do doesn't affect me on not getting the promo. EEK!!
