The first snow storm we had was different snow, this time it's more "wet" and "heavy". Thousands of people around the KC metro are with out power. We've gotten about 10 inches or more of snow with a bit more coming our way.
Please pray that the emergency workers, snow removal workers, news crews, and that everyone that has to be out and about stay safe and warm. Also please pray that more people don't lose power. We are unable to leave our homes and snow is blowing everywhere.
Major highways are closed. Lots of accidents being reported. There is a report of a fallen power line catching on fire.
I hate winter. But must trust in God that he will take care of us, and should not fear.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

My aunt and her family live in the KC area and she emailed me pictures this morning of all the snow in their backyard. Nuts! Try to keep warm.
